Heurs et malheurs de l'administration chargée de la protection des monuments historiques en France, 1830-1848

Abstract : The french minister for the home department François Guizot offered the creation of general inspection for historic monuments to th king Louis Philippe in 1830. Consequently, ans specifically for france in Europe, the centralised administration became the principal actor in the ancient heritage preservation.
