Aggravation du risque d’inondation lié aux typhons et vulnérabilités dans le bassin du fleuve Ha-Thanh (Viêt-Nam)

Abstract : Located in central Vietnam, Quy Nhon city and its harbor (Binh Dinh Province) have been affected by a strong urban expansion for the last 30 years, with transformations of land use in the delta of the Ha Thanh River (85 km²). The hydrological regime of this coastal river is characterized by rapid floods. These floods are mainly generated at the time of annual typhoons. A multi-scale geographical approach is conducted in order to characterize the floods linked to typhoons and their spread and to spatialize the risks in the deltaic floodplain. It also focuses on anthropogenic pressures and impacts on the fluvial environment and its basin. These factors can change the hydrological conditions in the Ha Thanh basin.
